Terms of use
The terms, plainly put
These terms are the agreement between you and us when you use Willow’s Wedding, on the website or in the iOS app. We have kept them as plain as we can. Please read them, together with our privacy policy, which explains how we look after your data.
Last updated 3 October 2026
About these terms
Willow’s Wedding is run by VDE Data Solutions Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16015521), whose registered office is at Onega House, 112 Main Road, Sidcup DA14 6NE, United Kingdom. In these terms, “we” and “us” means VDE Data Solutions Limited, and “Willow” means the website, the app and the service they provide.
By using Willow you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use it. You can reach us at info@willowswedding.com.
Who can use Willow
You must be 18 or over to use Willow, and able to enter into a binding agreement.
What Willow does
Willow makes AI-generated pictures of a wedding: your venue dressed for the day, with the two of you in it, drawn from the photos and details you give us. Each one is a visualisation for inspiration. It is not a photograph, a quote or a promise. Real decor, flowers, prices and availability depend on your venue, your vendors and your final choices, and the day itself will look different.
AI models can get things wrong: a face, a hand, a detail of the venue. We check every image before you see it, but we can’t guarantee each one is accurate, and you shouldn’t rely on an image alone when you book or buy anything.
Guests and accounts
You can use Willow as a guest. A guest’s credits and gallery live on that browser or that phone: if you clear your cookies, lose the phone or delete the app, they may be lost. Sign in to keep them safe on every device; anything you made as a guest moves onto your account when you sign in.
A guest session that goes 12 months without being used is deleted, with its gallery, unless it still holds credits or an unused gift card it bought (see our privacy policy). An account is kept until you delete it.
Keep your sign-in details to yourself, and tell us straight away if you think someone else is using your account.
Credits
- Willow runs on credits. Each visualisation and each fine-tune costs the number of credits shown before you start (currently 20 for a visualisation and 5 for a fine-tune).
- Credits come in packs that you buy once. There is no subscription. Prices are shown before you pay. In the app, payment is taken by Apple; on the website, by Stripe.
- If a visualisation or fine-tune can’t be completed, the credits it reserved go back to your balance automatically.
- Credits don’t expire. They have no cash value, can’t be exchanged for money except as a refund under these terms, and can’t be moved to someone else’s account, except by buying them a gift code.
Refunds and cancelling
- Changing your mind. You can cancel a purchase made on the website within 14 days of making it, and we will refund the credits from it that you haven’t used. Write to info@willowswedding.com.
- When something goes wrong. If a visualisation fails in a way the automatic refund doesn’t cover, tell us and we will put it right, by returning the credits or by making it again.
- Purchases in the app. Apple takes the payments for credit packs and gift cards bought in the app, so refunds are Apple’s to give: ask Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com, not us. If Apple refunds a credit pack, we remove the credits it added. If they have already been spent, your balance can go below zero until you top up.
- Gift cards bought in the app. If Apple refunds a gift card nobody has redeemed, its code stops working. If someone else has already redeemed it, the credits stay with them. If you redeemed it yourself, we remove its credits, as for a credit pack.
None of this affects your legal rights as a consumer.
Gift codes
You can buy credits as a gift card, on the website or in the app. Each gift card has a code, which is shown to you after you pay so you can give it to someone else; in the app, your gifts are also listed under Credits. A code can be redeemed on the website or in the app. If a code bought on the website can’t be redeemed in the app, the app says so, and the code still works on the website.
A code can be used once, doesn’t expire, and adds its credits to whoever redeems it first, so keep it safe, as you would cash. We can’t replace a lost code, but write to us if something has gone wrong. An unused code bought on the website can be refunded within 14 days of buying it; once redeemed, it can’t. A gift card bought in the app is refunded by Apple (see refunds). If you delete your account, the codes you bought keep working for whoever has them.
Your photos
The photos and words you give us stay yours. You allow us to store them, copy them and send them to the providers listed in our privacy policy, only to provide Willow to you, for as long as you keep them with us.
When you add a photo, you promise that:
- you have the right to use it;
- everyone in it is you, or has agreed to their photo being used this way;
- everyone in it is 18 or over.
The images Willow makes
You may use the visualisations Willow makes for you however you like within the law: keep them, print them, and share them with your partner, family, friends, planner and vendors. We don’t claim them as ours, and we won’t use your photos or your visualisations in our marketing, or anywhere public, without asking you first.
Images made by AI can resemble other images, and we can’t promise each one is unique. If you start from a venue in our library, its photograph belongs to its owner: use what Willow makes from it for planning your own wedding, not for publishing or selling.
Fair use
Please don’t use Willow to:
- add photos of people who haven’t agreed, or of anyone under 18;
- make sexual, violent, hateful or harassing images, or images meant to pass as real photographs in order to deceive;
- pretend to be someone else, or break the law or anyone’s rights, including their copyright and privacy;
- get round the human check, the credit system or our limits, copy the service by automated means, or interfere with how it runs;
- resell credits, gift codes or access to Willow.
We and our AI providers may refuse a request that breaks these rules, and we may remove content and suspend accounts that break them. If you see Willow being misused, please tell us at info@willowswedding.com, or report the image (see sharing).
Keeping Willow running
We work to keep Willow available and working well, but we can’t promise it will always be available or free of faults. We may change, add or remove features. If a change takes away something you have paid for, we will tell you, and you can ask for a refund of the credits you haven’t used.
If we ever decide to close Willow, we will tell you at least 30 days before, so you can use your credits and save your images, and we will refund credits you bought and haven’t used.
Our responsibility to you
- We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss or damage that wasn’t foreseeable.
- Willow is for personal use. We are not responsible for business losses, such as lost profit or lost opportunity.
- We are not responsible for decisions you or anyone else make based on an image, such as booking a vendor or buying decor.
- Nothing in these terms limits our responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law doesn’t allow us to limit, and nothing affects your legal rights as a consumer, including under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
- Apart from that, our total responsibility to you is limited to what you have paid us in the 12 months before the problem.
Ending
You can stop using Willow at any time, and have your account and data deleted (the delete your data page says how; in the app, it is under Account). Credits left in an account are lost when it is deleted, so if you bought credits on the website in the last 14 days and haven’t used them, ask for a refund first. Gift codes you bought keep working for whoever has them.
We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, and we will tell you why where we can. If we close your account when you haven’t broken these terms, we will refund the credits you bought and haven’t used.
The iOS app and Apple
If you use the iOS app, these terms are also its licence agreement, and the following applies too:
- These terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content.
- We give you a personal licence, which you can’t transfer, to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, as the App Store’s usage rules allow.
- We, not Apple, provide maintenance and support for the app. Questions, complaints and claims about the app go to us: VDE Data Solutions Limited, Onega House, 112 Main Road, Sidcup DA14 6NE, United Kingdom, or info@willowswedding.com.
- If the app fails to meet a warranty that applies to it, you can tell Apple, and Apple will refund the price you paid for the app (the app itself is free). As far as the law allows, Apple has no other warranty obligation for the app.
- We, not Apple, are responsible for dealing with any claim about the app, including product liability claims, claims that it fails to meet a legal or regulatory requirement, and claims under consumer protection, privacy or similar laws.
- If anyone claims that the app or your use of it infringes their intellectual property rights, we, not Apple, are responsible for investigating, defending and settling that claim.
- You confirm that you are not in a country subject to a US Government embargo, or one the US Government has designated as “terrorist supporting”, and that you are not on any US Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
- When you use the app, you must also follow the terms of any other service it relies on, such as your mobile network’s.
- Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms, and once you accept them, Apple may enforce them against you.
Complaints and the law
If you are unhappy with anything, write to info@willowswedding.com and we will do our best to put it right.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring a claim in the courts of England and Wales, or, if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, in your local courts. If you live in the European Union, you also keep the protection of your country’s consumer laws.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms, for example when Willow changes or the law does. We will change the date at the top, and if a change matters to you, we will tell you on the website or in the app before it takes effect. If you don’t agree with a change, you can stop using Willow and ask for your data to be deleted.
