Your data
Delete your data
You can have everything you have made with Willow deleted: your photos, your visualisations and your account, whether you signed in or used Willow as a guest. Here is how, and what happens when you do.
Last updated 3 October 2026
By email, from anywhere
Write to support@willowswedding.com with the subject “Delete my data”. This works whether you used the website or the app, signed in or not. So that nobody but you can have your data deleted, include:
- If you have an account: the email address you sign in with. We reply to that address, and delete your data once you confirm from it.
- If you used the website as a guest: the web address of one of your visualisations. On the website, open your gallery, choose Open conversation, and copy the address from your browser; it starts with willowswedding.com/chat?id=. It is how we find your data, so keep it to yourself. If you used more than one browser, send one address from each. If you have since signed in, what you made as a guest is part of your account, so write as an account holder instead.
- If you used the app as a guest: your guest ID. The app’s Delete data made as a guest option (below) writes this email for you, with the ID filled in.
If you can’t send any of these, for example because you cleared your cookies, write to us anyway. Tell us roughly when you made your visualisations, of which venue and in which style, and we will look for them. We delete only what clearly matches, and never anything that belongs to an account.
Once we know the request is yours, we delete your data and confirm by email when it is done, within one month at most.
In the iOS app
Signed in: open the Account tab, choose Delete account and confirm by typing DELETE. Your account and everything in it are deleted, and the app starts afresh as a new guest. If a visualisation is still being made, wait for it to finish first.
As a guest: open the Account tab and choose Delete data made as a guest. It opens an email to us with your guest ID filled in; send it, and we do the rest.
On the website
If you have an account and delete it from the website’s account settings, your data is deleted with it, as in the app. As a guest on the website, use email as described above.
What is deleted
- Your account: your email address, your name and your sign-in.
- Every photo you added: the venue, the two of you and your inspiration images.
- Your visualisations and fine-tunes, including any image our checks held back, and the details of your day.
- Your share links, which stop working. We can’t recall a copy someone has already saved.
- Your newsletter subscription.
- The record of your consent, and your phones’ push tokens, so the app sends you no more notifications.
- Your profile in our analytics, and your customer record at RevenueCat, which confirms App Store purchases to us.
Our AI providers don’t keep your photos for us: they process them to make your images, and any short-term copy they hold to detect abuse is deleted under their own terms.
What we keep
- Records of what you bought, on the website or in the app, and the history of credits added and spent, without your name or email address, for six years, because tax law requires it.
- Gift codes you bought keep working for whoever has them: a gift already given belongs to its recipient. A code you redeemed stays marked as used.
- Reports of images, yours or other people’s about your images, as our record of how we handled them, until two years after each report: without your identifier, and without the images, which are deleted.
- The records in our analytics of what was done. We delete your profile there, but not these records.
- Our email exchange about the deletion, so we can show that we did it.
Apple keeps its own record of what you bought in the app, under its own privacy policy.
Credits left in your account are lost when it is deleted. If you bought credits on the website in the last 14 days and haven’t used them, ask for a refund before you delete your account (see our terms).
Smaller steps
- To stop sharing an image, revoke its share link from your gallery.
- To leave the newsletter, use the unsubscribe link in any letter.
- For anything else about your data, see our privacy policy or write to info@willowswedding.com.
